Shirley Maclaine's movie - Out on a Limb, offers answers to so many questions.
I have been aware of this movie for a lot of years and was first introduced to it the 1980s by a well known leader in the Spiritualist movement as just something to make you think, well it certainly does that. There are actually two parts to this movie, this is Part One and Part Two is to follow.
When I first saw this movie it took me a little by surprise, I was new to my wonderful gift and was sitting in my first development circle run by the President of Canvey Spiritualist Church, the tough but wonderful Joan Barham. Joan was a no nonsense old fashioned teacher but that's a story for another occasion .
The idea that someone as famous as Shirley Maclaine had experienced similar things to myself, really blew me away and made me feel extra excited and craving for more as in my early days of "awakening" I felt confused and I must admit pretty scared (especially the day the young man who had past lay in my kitchen waiting for me to pass on a message to his wife), this movie helped me to make sense of things.
Shirley's journey of awakenment through his movie is truly inspiring and as far as I'm concerned it should be shown by all Teaching Mediums within their circles as a lesson on how to trust the universe and believe that you are always watched over and that, "There are more things in heaven and earth Horatio than are dreamt of in your philosophy" (William Shakespeare).
Conclusion
This movie is inspirational, in that there are two parts to it does need some dedication to sit through both parts but, boy is it worth it, and (Spoiler Alert) the driving hands free in Part 2, is way beyond Toyota, Honda or any human systems yet to be created.
God bless and thank you for reading
